ITC Conference Grants for EGU25

One focus of the session “Remote Sensing for Forest Applications” at the upcoming European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2025 (EGU25) in Vienna, Austria (27 April – 2 May 2025), will be on the outcomes of the 3DForEcoTech COST Action (www.3dforecotech.eu). Its focus is on developing protocols for data acquisition and processing, fusion for forest inventory and ecological applications, and the establishment of open-data and open-source algorithm databases.

Through the COST Action 3DForEcoTech, we have the possibility to grant conference funds for Inclusive Target Countries (ITC). ITC conference grants are aimed at young researchers and PhD students from ITCs to attend beneficial international conferences that are not organised by COST Actions.

We invite you to submit your application for the ITC Conference Grant by the deadline of 5th January 2025. The application should include an abstract of the work you want to present and a CV. Send your applications to Erika Kozamernik and Mattia Balestra (erika.kozamernik@gozdis.si, m.balestra@staff.univpm.it).

Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Warm regards,
Markus Hollaus (markus.hollaus@geo.tuwien.ac.at) & Mattia Balestra (m.balestra@staff.univpm.it)
